Testing back and forth with MediaWiki vs BlueSpice various extension and with regards to MenuEditor, is this a native extension which only works with BlueSpice? Asking since I’m pre-configurating a native MediaWiki which later will be migrated to BlueSpice and were the MenuEditor extension was one feature which users liked.
No, MenuEditor is designed to be BlueSpice independent. It only integrates into BlueSpice, but does not require it. Be aware that it still required installation via composer due to some external dependencies.
Ok, thanks, did install it using composer, and verified that it shows up under the Version page. But, not sure were I would actually find the MenuEdit features once installed and setup.
You need to navigate to MediaWiki:Sidebar and click the “edit” link. It should provide you with the MenuEditor, rather than with the WikiTextEditor
