# Update 4.2.4 --\> 4.4 geting errors

Is this an older BlueSpice installation with outdated entries in in the `extensions/BlueSpiceFoundation/config/nm-settings.php` file? You might also experience this bug [Upgrade BlueSpice 3 to 4: Global $wgLang is null](https://community.bluespice.com/t/upgrade-bluespice-3-to-4-global-wglang-is-null/87)

It wipes out the whole `$_GLOBALS` array including the global `$wgUser`
